BOTOX® Cosmetic, one of our most popular injectables, is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe facial lines. Dr. LaTrenta also uses Dysport® and Xeomin®.
JUVEDERM®XC, another popular treatment, is a smooth gel filler that Dr. LaTrenta uses to instantly smooth away wrinkles around the mouth and nose. With just one treatment, patients achieve smooth and natural-looking results that last up to a year.
Dr. LaTrenta offers a wide selection of other injectables in addition to these two popular products, including Vollure, Refyne, Defyne, Radiesse, Juvederm Ultra/Volbella/Voluma.

With some treatments, no anesthetic is necessary, as the needles utilized are so small that discomfort is minimal. With others, topical anesthetic agents or nerve blocks may be utilized, depending on the patient’s preference and the sensitivity of the region being treated.
Most patients rest for about 15 minutes while a topical anesthetic is applied and takes affect.
Using a fine needle, Dr. LaTrenta eases injectables under the skin. The procedure usually takes about 5 minutes.
After the injections, the doctor or nurse may apply ice packs to ease any discomfort or swelling.
The only requirements for Injectables are that the patient is a healthy non-smoker with realistic expectations.
There is little or no recovery time. Exercise can begin that evening.
Within days, you should see a marked improvement in moderate-to-severe lines. Lines continue to improve for up to 30 days.
Results last from 3 months to a year.
